By the way, due to the revolutionary hi-tech Cuetec manufacturing process, the proper way to determine the straightness of a Cuetec Cue is to “sight” the cue from the butt to the tip. If you roll the cue on a table you may notice a slight wobble. This is normal due to the nature of the fiberglass cladding process over the wood. Thunderbolt (TB) shaft is the latest maple shaft from Cuetec without the fiberglass cladding. The center core of the TB shaft is inserted with a graphite rod for added strength to the shaft. Similar to what predator is trying to do - improve the strength of the shaft. As Predator does not have a 314 shaft that support Cuetec cues, the TB shaft offers hope for the millions of Cuetec, Excalibur, Maximizer and Scorpion cue owners who wanted Predator 314 features.
